“ Visiting family from out of state. Came here for lunch. So delicious!! The portions are huge and the homemade bread is the best!!! If you see the cranberry wild rice bread, buy it!! ”
“ Found this gem of a proper local place while passing on the highway and can't recommend it enough. The staff were very friendly, the food was freshly cooked and so good. So if you are in the area give this place a go and it won't disappoint. ”
“ Great little restaurant. The burgers were clearly homemade and cooked on a flattop. The homemade buns were very tasty. The patty melt was good as well but the onions could have been cooked a little longer. The crinkle cut fries were nice and crispy and soft in the center. Overall, worth the stop if you’re nearby! ”
“ Unique restaurant/antique store vibes, some things for sale, others just for display, including a huge Nativity collection. Our server was young and not the most attentive, but we were seated in the back seating area. And there were 13 of us, so we understood and were kind. The food was so.good. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area, but only if I have enough time. Fries were some of the best I've ever had, and the hash browns and link sausages were perfect. We got there at lunchtime, but they serve breakfast until 7pm, I think. ”
“ If you're headed up 71, make this place a planned stop! Their burgers are awesome! This is the California Burger with cheese added and fried onions. And the bun! It's like it's homemade! I was so full after finishing the burger and they're generous helping of fries. Those fries are coated with something that makes them very tasty and crunchy and better than most restaurant fries! Oh, and make sure you use the bathroom while you're there. Your wife will wonder if you're constipated, but you're just reading all the funny cartoons in there. I'll be back! ”
“ Stopped for late lunch, early dinner. Coming through on Vacay with kids and grandkids. I had the Rueben on rye with chips. Delicious! The meat was tender and the melted cheese and sauerkraut beyond yummy. Beef stew was good, with Rhubarb pie as dessert. Everyone was nice and welcoming, the homey inside with quilts and other antiques. And the portions large. You must go! ”
